One of My Favorite 90's Rock Song...

Kinda going thru my old CD collection and found this album by Slaughter and rip one of my favorite song from the CD. Oh well, I could relate to the lyric pretty well haha. Nevertheless, one awesome song that I never grew tired listening. 90's rock/metal still rules \m/

(posted this cos taking a break from work... yeah, still at my work desk at this time on a Friday....)

Real Love
By Slaughter

I lie awake in the morning light
No one to hold
Another sleepless night
'Cause it's over now that you've left me
Oh so lonely

Oh, I hear it calling
Oh, I hear it calling

Real love won't somebody show me
Real love isn't anyone true anymore
Real love won't somebody show me
Real love where are you

All through my lifeI've been feelin' down
Searchin' to find
I'm lost and not found
There's gotta be someone
Someone who understands me

Oh, I hear it calling
Oh, I hear it calling

Real love won't somebody show me
Real love isn't anyone true anymore
Real love won't somebody show me
Real love where are you

Oh, I hear it calling
Oh, can't you hear it calling

Real love won't somebody show me
Real love isn't anyone true anymore
Real love won't somebody show me
Real love where are you

A little addition to my guitar collection...

Except that this time it's not a real guitar LOL...

Nevertheless, great to hear some classic rock tunes from the 70's and 80's which brings back memories :)

Arrrrrrrrr~~~~~

Check out this Taiwanese trying to imitate the Russian singer Vitas...muahahahaha

And check out the real deal...

10 Years.....

since Myx Metal Assault was first released to the local metal scene which comprised of 6 local metal bands, including my now-defunct band, X-Conxept.

When I was combing through my CD collection over the years for some old stuff to listen to, I picked up the CD and realised that it was released in 1998, exactly 10 years after.

Now I've uploaded 2 of the songs X-Conxept had recorded for the compilation. Specially for the bandmates of X-Conxept (you know who you are). Enjoy.

Helloween Live in SG!

At last!

A decade of dream since 1996 had finally been realised when Helloween had decided to stop by Singapore for a night of hard rocking metal hits from their albums.

Though I initially thought that they will be playing mostly songs from their latest album, Gambling with the Devil, I was wrong. 80% of their set list features classic songs from their older albums like Helloween, Dr Stein, Future World, Sole Survivor and a bit of Keepers of the Seven Keys.....

Of course, the concert is not complete without their timeless classic EAGLE FLY FREE!!!!!!!!

All in all, the concert was a blast with very spontaneous (and nice) crowd. The band even threw in some pumpkin balloons for the fans out there...

Too bad Hilary is not around to join me and Mr & Mrs Damien.......Rock on! \m/

X-Conxept's old jam session

LOL......

While digging into my HDD, I found this video of our de-funct band X-Conxept having a jamming session at BMC practise studios. Featuring Damien, Hilary, Fangs, Yun, me and the 2 Sarahs for dancing and shooting this vid for us :p

Those were the days.....
