Amazing....

Wow.... .

Chanced upon this stall near my workplace today and guess what's the name of the stall? Amazing Wanton Noodles. I was like, how the fuck ppl still use such corny name for a stall.

So i and my colleague ordered from them to see how amazing their noodles are.

Tried the noodles and indeed, they are amazingly.......

..........ordinary.

Logical.....

A wise friend of mine told me this:

"When 2 friends gets too close and comfortable with each other, sometimes one party will take the other for granted and become insensitive to his feelings."

Ya, makes perfect sense, since it happened in my life :)

How ironic.....

They belongs to the so-called upper class group who own luxury cars and stuffs, however they did the most disgusting acts in modern society.

Yesterday went to a carpark in Clementi, realising they had just installed the ERP system. For the clueless, it means that the entry to the carpark requires the vehicle enter the carpark by going thru electronic gantry which scans the transmitter on the vehicle, which our political top brass called it the ERP unit. You go thru the same process when you exit from the carpark. For bikes, you have to insert a cashcard into the reader in order to access the carpark.

So, on my way out, as usual i have to insert the card in order to get out. Then i suddenly realised that a mercedes is beside me. As my instinct had warned me, the reality proved my instinct right. As soon as the barrier rose, the mercs quickly dash out thru the barrier. Of course i had to get out fast before the barrier come down on me. Luckily i managed without breaking a sweat.

I was like, what the fuck? You have the cash to get yourself a luxury car, yet you go to that fucking extent to avoid paying for your parking charges? Fucking piece of shit, if parking charges are too much to bear, then fucking don't drive! Another disgusting shit i heard from Angkuguay is these are the group of assholes who drive out of gas station without paying. Got money to buy expensive car, no money to buy fuel for it.

Shameless disgusting fucks, you know who you are.

Cameron Highlands 6-8 April 2007

It's been years since I go for long trips, particularly due to work and laziness and only recently I just resumed this favourite sport of mine, but with my dear fiance, Mrs Xgrind.
This time round we are heading for Cameron Highlands, a place that I and AngKuGuay had never been there before. So this time, with the planning of the 2 ladies (Mrs AngKuGuay and Mrs Xgrind), we will head for the conquest of the highlands.

Everyone meets up on time at the starting point, enabling us to move out on schedule without much mishap. Damien was given an hour headstart since his car can never catch up with the 4 speed demons (actually only three LOL) who are blasting more than 140km/h.

Hilary, unfortunately had to turn back to Singapore as his bike is crippled due to improperly installed timing belt. He had to ride on 1 piston and 80km distance with a fuel efficiency of only 7km/litre. Holy fuck. It's a pity that this shit happened as he had been looking forward to it.

So the rest wait for me at Pagoh R&R while I and Dear travelled alone to Pagoh. There, we met someone we knew, a common friend, Cheeko. Well, he was resting halfway on his trip. However, he is still very helpful in showing us the route to Cameron Highlands

Guess who we met....

Around late morning we reached Ayer Keroh R&R where we have our usual treat at A&W. As usual, this restuarant always seems to run out of waffles, so Charlie and Dear never get to have a taste of it.

After our meal, we proceed to continue our journey. After KL, the scenery is so much better. Most of the scenic photos taken by my trusty N93 can be seen over at my vox blog.

After almost 600km trip, we finally reached Simpang Pulai R&R for fuel and rest before we head up to the highlands.

The black bikes.....
Finally we have reached our hotel, by then it's already dusk. While waiting for check-in, I got some tips from AngKuGuay and took these:

Not very pro-looking though, as it's taken with N93 (In fact all the photos you see here are taken with N93)
After a nice shower, we proceed to have our dinner (we haven't eaten since 1pm!). We decided to have steamboat and to be frank, so-so only. The next morning, while on the way to have breakfast, I looked out the window and saw a breathtaking sight and took it:
This is my personal favorite shot with my camera phone :)

The scenery from our hotel

After almost 1 hour of slow travel uphill LJ road, we finally reached the Boh Tea Plantation Visitor Centre. There we took some nice shots as well...Proof of our visit, heh
AngKuGuay trying to poke his nose into everything.... including his own DSLR LOL
What we had during the break there.....well, I'm a hardcore tea drinker..
Another fav shot
What are the 3 ladies looking at?
After the tea plantation visit, we proceed to the strawberry farm. However, upon reaching there, we were told that this is not the farm we are looking for and got ready to move off after 5 minutes of hanging around there...

We had one of those too..... strawberries dipped in honey!

Upon reaching the Cactus farm, I and AngKuGuay catch this scenery and took it... that's the road we cornered up when we arrived....
The ladies got these for themselves! Chong one of course...

Shortly after, my N93's battery went dead and I couldn't take any more photos so the journey to the other Strawberry farm are not captured in the digital format but in my head....

Back in the hotel after dinner, we decided to have some old fun.... JENGA! Of course, with other sinful stuffs like beer, stout, cigar and cigarettes! In the voice of Leoniadas of the 300 spartans, THIS IS JENGAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Finally after a night of Jenga, booze and smoke with a doze 13 ghost movie, it's time for us to head back for Singapore. Think I and AngKuGuay are excited to corner thru the mountain roads

Helping Jackie to get his tyre pumped up before we move off (in the background)
Found this awesome location for an awesome scenery shot on the way back

After almost an hour of scrapping my boots and clearing wanker's strips, we finally reached Simpang Pulai R&R for a rest.

After another 4+ hours of blasting through the traffic on NS highway, we finally reached Gelang Petah R&R and in a short while we split up to have a much deserved rest.

All in all, the trip is although pretty tiring, but really fruitful and enjoyable.

Got siren bo? No la, although it looks like the errie factory in the Silent Hill movie, it's actually one of the factories in the Boh plantation. And ya, they have the siren too! (the sky won't turn pitch black though).
