Oh Yeah!

Finally one of my long awaited game for PS3 had released, just in time when I have enough cash to get it.

In this series, a brief time in the battle gameplay gave me the feeling that this one is more difficult to play as compared to the previous releases. However, the mousu mode in this game is visually stunning, especially when you are clearing the 30-odd enemies surrounding you. And you can play co-op mode with your friend.

All in all, it's a good game worth buying for some hacking and slashing fun. I give a personal 4 out of 5 rating.

Finally got it back!

After almost a year with Weiming, he had finally digged out this movie I lent him back then and return to me.

This is one of my favorite war movie, telling the last 10 days of Hitler before he committed suicide and ended the European Theatre of World War 2. The movie is in German but comes with english and chinese subtitles.

War buffs should check this movie out

An insult to Korean food

Walking around Suntec looking for late lunch and we came across this cafe called Ya Zhou Cafe Korean Cuisine at basement 1. Dear suggested eating there since it is affordable and off we went to order the Hot Plate Chicken and Beef Bibimbab.

What we get from our orders: Hot Plate Chicken that tasted sucky, dried up Kimchi, Bibimbab with fried egg (what the fuck, it's supposed to be RAW egg moron!) which sucked as well. Guess that they probably picked up the wrong recipe.

Definitely I will not recommend this place to my friends to patronise this cafe for Korean meals. Totally sucked big time

Disabling AIS on my FZ1

Took half day off work today for 2 purpose: 1st, to clear my remaining leave from last year before the company forfeits them and 2nd, to use this time to do something to my bike: disabling the Air Induction System.

Why do I need to remove something that is designed by the manufacturer to be placed on the bike? According to what I have read, it is to aid in the complete combustion of leftover fuel that is left unburnt in the combustion cycle. However the drawback will be getting popping sounds during deceleration. While the stock exhaust will absorb most of the popping sound and more evident in aftermarket slip-ons, I still feel uncomfortable knowing that there is popping sound occurring in my ride. The solution to this? block off the air supply to prevent the AIS from functioning.

Took me a while to remove the tank and airbox cover for the first time. Compared to my previous bike, Yamaha did not provide a way for me to hold the tank in its lifted up position (which means either you remove the tank totally or hold it with your hand) Honda however provided a way for me to hold the tank in its lifted position without removing the tank at all. That's a downer for me....upon opening the airbox cover, it is easy to find the AIS air hole as shown in the picture.

The little hole next to the filter

As opposed to what some did by using a marble ball to block off the air hose, I had decided to use a 20-cent coin, blu-tack and duct tape to do this job, since I had a very hard time trying to find a marble ball from most of the provision shops I had came by.

Covering the coin with Blu-Tack

Sealing the hole

Securing with duct tape

Covered the airbox and put everything back into place after that. At current state I probably will not see much difference at the moment but will monitor what other benefits/issues I will get from this DIY mod.

Finally....

After raining bitches and pussies for the entire week, the sunshine is back!

No more wet weather riding....for now.

What the?!?!

On a lazy Monday morning, while most of us were working in half-asleep mode, something happened.

How did it happened, I did not witness it personally. The picture is sent to me by my colleague and it happened just outside my office.
