Helloween Live in SG!
A decade of dream since 1996 had finally been realised when Helloween had decided to stop by Singapore for a night of hard rocking metal hits from their albums.
Though I initially thought that they will be playing mostly songs from their latest album, Gambling with the Devil, I was wrong. 80% of their set list features classic songs from their older albums like Helloween, Dr Stein, Future World, Sole Survivor and a bit of Keepers of the Seven Keys.....
Of course, the concert is not complete without their timeless classic EAGLE FLY FREE!!!!!!!!
All in all, the concert was a blast with very spontaneous (and nice) crowd. The band even threw in some pumpkin balloons for the fans out there...
Too bad Hilary is not around to join me and Mr & Mrs Damien.......Rock on! \m/
An advanced present for me.....
With the lack of support from the big boys, Toshiba finally made the announcement to retreat from the format war. So now BluRay will reign the High Definition industry.... for now until HD downloads becomes a reality.
Why am I so happy? Cos I can expect a Transformers movie in BluRay format coming out in a not so distant future :)
Now I'm definitely assured that my PS3 will not be a white elephant as well haha. More details below:

Maxima Chain Wax
What's so nice about this chain wax? Well, I had been using Maxima oil for a while and I had been very satisfied with the products this company had made, so I reckon that the chain wax isn't that bad, coming from the same company. It's in the form of aerosol spray can, but does not contain CFC, which will deplete our ozone layer. Secondly the wax contains anti-wear and extreme pressure additives that prevents chain stretch and wear. In addition it does not contain silicone. Frankly, I do not know what's so bad about having silicone in the chain lubricant and hope someone can drop me a comment telling me the reason :p
Could this be the iPhone killer?
Currently a concept phone from Nvidia...
iPhone-like messaging...
Found this cool app on the internet created by OPDA. It's actually just another threaded sms application like Nokia's Conversation but the interface had been claimed to be designed like what you see in iPhone (I never played with the sms portion of the iPhone so I'm not sure on this)
Nevertheless, the app looked pretty stable so far except for some UI quirks. Hope the next update will post out more bugs and add more features.
You can download the app here. However, you need to sign the application before installing into your 3rd Edition phones.Blogged with N95
Shake! Shake! Shake!
The video is self-explanatory as it is a pretty simple yet effective program. In order to use this program S60 users will have to install S60 Python on their phone and the phone must have accelerometer sensor installed in it (so at the moment only N93i, N82 & N95)
The application (currently in public Beta) can be downloaded here
N-Gage online access on N95 8Gb!
Fear not, just a day after the service is launched, french Nokia thememaster P@sco had managed to extract the software and post it up for the rest of Nseries users to enjoy.
I had tried it on my phone and somehow i couldn't get Space Impact to run on my phone and hanged shortly after. Maybe it's only my phone as I had not seen any complaints from other N95 users yet.
