Splash Protector

Thanks to Tish, he reminded me of something that I had forgotten to do on this bike: splash protector for the rear shock. The last time I did this was like 7 years back on my CBR600.

So since I was washing my bike, I figure why not find the leftover rubber sheet (inner lining of a tube tire) used back then and work on this bike. After washing the bike, I used the 3M industrial strength double sided tape (which is also 7 years old haha) and stick on the rubber sheet first. After which I then peeled off the other layer and stick it just right behind where the rectifier is.

Ah, now the shock and rectifier are now protected from rain splashes and dirt. Simple diy shit, heh.
